STICK YOUR NOSE IN A BOOK PROGRAM HELD

The “Stick Your Nose in a Book” program was held on Friday, September 7. Community leaders and local educators wore red clown noses in honor of the statewide celebration that encourages reading and promotes literacy for all ages. Throughout the day, volunteers read to children and adults at various locations. The event was held in conjunction with International Literacy Day. The event was co-sponsored by the Jackson County Public Library and Read Jackson County.
